Barbara Dewey

Barbara Dewey: Barbara, of Waldorf Without Walls, publishes a quarterly newsletter, writes publications, provides training workshops, and spends her spare time with family and friends, enjoying the unique solar home she built, and developing her farmland. She is the mother of four and grandmother to six. Barbara holds an M.S. in Waldorf Education from the Waldorf Institute of Sunbridge College in Spring Valley, N.Y. She has been teaching for 46 years.

Misty Vredenburg

Misty Vredenburg: Misty, in addition to performing and teaching theater, has traveled the world (by sailboat, hitch-hiking, meandering, and train), studied gourmet cooking, planned and operated a one acre garden at ARE Camp for three summers, studied primitive earth skills, and explored the Costa Rican rain forest. She takes on every project with enthusiasm and creativity, including building walls out of carpet rolls, chicken wire and paper mache! Misty's main joy is experiencing home schooling with her eleven year old daughter, Emma, who will be at the weekend!!

Karen Whitescarver

Karen Whitescarver: Karen grew up in New York State but considers herself from many places with many interests. Exploring the sciences through 4-H, college, and in life has helped her gain a new perspective about the world. She enjoys singing, games, photography, reading, science, cooking, fiber arts, and time with her family. She is currently a full time staff member at the Highland School, a democratic boarding and day school in rural West Virginia. She is married to John Whitescarver and they have a son, Travis, age nine, who will also be at the weekend.
